The Jean Lumb Foundation is a Canadian, not-for-profit organization that was incorporated in 2006 and established as a charitable foundation (#83058 2128 RR0001) in 2008. Its purpose is to advance education by providing scholarships to students of Chinese heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u6797\u9ec3\u5f69\u73cd\u57fa\u91d1\u6703\u6210\u7acb\u65bc2006\u5e74\uff0c\u4e26\u57282008\u5e74\u8a3b\u518a\u70ba\u6148\u5584\u57fa\u91d1\u6703 (#83058 2128 RR0001)\u3002\u6797\u9ec3\u5f69\u73cd\u57fa \u91d1\u6703\u65e8\u5728\u63a8\u52d5\u6559\u80b2\uff0c\u901a\u904e\u9812\u767c\u734e\u5b78\u91d1\uff0c\u9f13\u52f5\u6210\u7e3e\u512a\u7570\u7684\u83ef\u88d4\u5b78\u751f\u7e7c\u7e8c\u5b78\u7fd2\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1996, a group of community representatives gathered to organize the Mid-Autumn Gala in Toronto to raise funds to establish scholarships that would be named in honour of Jean Lumb. The first Jean Lumb Awards were presented in 1998 at the first annual Jean Lumb Awards Dinner. Since that year, the Jean Lumb Awards have been presented to 100+ outstanding students who have achieved excellence in the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u57281996\u5e74\uff0c\u4e00\u7fa4\u793e\u5340\u8ce2\u9054\u4e3b\u8fa6\u4e86\u4e00\u500b\u540d\u70ba\u300e\u8cc0\u4e2d\u79cb\u300f\u7684\u7c4c\u6b35\u665a\u5bb4\uff0c\u628a\u7c4c\u5f97\u7684\u5584\u6b35\u6210\u7acb\u734e\u5b78\u91d1\u3002\u4e26\u4ee5\u6797 \u9ec3\u5f69\u73cd\u547d\u540d\uff0c\u4ee5\u8868\u63da\u5979\u5728\u83ef\u4eba\u793e\u5340\u6240\u4f5c\u51fa\u7684\u8ca2\u737b\u30021998\u5e74\u8209\u884c\u4e86\u7b2c\u4e00\u5c46\u6797\u9ec3\u5f69\u73cd\u734e\u7684\u9812\u734e\u665a\u5bb4\u3002\u76f4\u81f3 \u4eca\u5929\uff0c\u5df2\u6709100+\u4f4d\u83ef\u88d4\u9ad8\u4e2d\u5b78\u751f\u7372\u5f97\u9812\u767c\u734e\u5b78\u91d1\u3002\u6797\u9ec3\u5f69\u73cd\u734e\u7684\u734e\u9805\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\uff1a<\/p>\n\n\n\n
